Handpicked podcasts for entrepreneurs
Paul Metcalfe, June 1st 2019
If you’re an entrepreneur building your startup you probably love podcasts.
Good podcast episodes are stacked full of actionable content and are worth more than many “guru” courses out there.
It's amazing what you can get for free!
There’s a problem with podcasts.
Particularly within the startup, business and marketing genres - there are too many of them to keep on top of.
You can try, but it usually goes one of two ways…
#1 Subscribe to a select few podcasts, listen to that content only, and miss out on what other great content is out there.
#2 Subscribe to every podcast going and watch the unplayed numbers keep creeping up until you get so overwhelmed you stop listening to podcasts altogether. Declare “podcast bankruptcy”.
Either way you’re not going to get the best out of your podcast player.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could get a list of only the best podcast episodes every week?
Episodes that are jam-packed full of strategies and tactics that you can use to build your business.
But you don’t want to drown in recommendations. So maybe enough to listen to one episode for every day of the week.
That’s why I started Podboxer. It’s the service I wanted in my life.
I search through and listen to what feels like hundreds of podcast episodes every week.
I put the best ones in an email - with the key takeaways and comments on why you should listen to that episode.
Example topics are:
- Founder Stories
- Getting Funded
- Building Teams
You get the email on a Monday and a Thursday. With 3 or 4 recommendations in each email.
Then you can spend your commute, your lunchtime walk or your workout, confident that you’re not listening to a mediocre podcast episode just because you’re subscribed to it.
And you're not wasting your time frantically searching for something "good".
